Family took legal step

Seeing the condition of Amandeep, his father Gurdeep Singh lodged a police complaint against Ramandeep and his father Lakhwinder Singh, a resident of Machheke of Barnala. After investigation, the police registered a case of fraud in police station Hathur. DSP D. Inderjit Singh said that at the time of marriage, there was a written agreement between the two families that Amandeep's family would bear the cost of sending Ramandeep to Canada, and in return she would make Amandeep permanent there. But this promise was broken.

The accused are absconding, police are searching

Currently, Ramandeep and his father Lakhwinder Singh are absconding. The police is looking for them.
