Kalyani Priyadarshan ’s superhero film ‘ Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra ’, directed by Dominic Arun, is continuing its strong run at the box office. The film, which released on 28 August 2025, has already created a storm in theatres and is now racing through its second week with impressive numbers.

Bollywood celebrities share love for the filmThe film has not only won over the audience but also received big appreciation from Bollywood stars. Priyanka Chopra shared her excitement for the film on social media, posting the poster and writing, “India’s first female superhero is here. What is the storyline of ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’At the heart of ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’ is the character of Chandra, played by Kalyani Priyadarshan. She is a yakshi (vampire) summoned by Moothon, the leader of a superhero group voiced by Mammootty.
