What You Need Before Downloading Aadhaar via WhatsAppTo use this facility, make sure you have the following:

Mobile number linked with Aadhaar (the OTP will be sent to this number).

Active DigiLocker account (you can create one on the DigiLocker website or mobile app if you don’t have it).

MyGov Helpdesk official WhatsApp number: +91-9013151515 (save it in your contacts).
Save the official number +91-9013151515 as “MyGov Helpdesk” in your phone.
Open WhatsApp and start a chat with this contact.
Send a greeting like “Hi” or “Namaste” to activate the chatbot.
From the options, choose “DigiLocker Services.”
The chatbot will ask if you have a DigiLocker account. If not, first create one using your Aadhaar details.
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the chat.
You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number—enter it to verify.
After verification, the chatbot will display all the documents available in your DigiLocker.
From the list, type the option number for Aadhaar Card.
Within seconds, your Aadhaar will be delivered to your WhatsApp chat in PDF format.
