Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian have come under heavy criticism for promoting an anti-aging treatment that has not been approved in the United States. The sisters recently traveled to Mexico, where they underwent Muse stem cell therapy. They described the procedure as life-changing. However, the treatment has not been cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration. The FDA continues to raise questions about its safety and effectiveness.

Medical experts have voiced concern over the Kardashians’ public endorsement of the therapy. A specialist speaking to international media said that traveling abroad for unregulated treatments allows people to bypass US safety laws. He explained that the stem cell therapy is still experimental and has not gone through FDA scrutiny.

The expert warned that patients who choose such treatments could face serious health risks. He said that when celebrities promote these procedures online, it creates an illusion of safety that does not exist. He stressed that fans may be encouraged to take unnecessary risks just because their favorite stars have tried them.

Regulators are especially worried because medical procedures offered outside the United States are often not subject to the same checks and balances. Without oversight, there is no guarantee that the therapies are safe or effective.

Despite growing backlash on social media, Kim and Khloé have not yet issued any statement in response. The controversy comes at a time when Kim has also been promoting her latest collection, The Fall Wardrobe, under her clothing brand SKIMS.
