Indian Railways has announced a new spiritual offering for devotees of Lord Shiva. Starting this November, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will operate a Bharat Gaurav special train that will cover seven Jyotirlingas along with other prominent religious sites.






The 12-day pilgrimage tour, beginning November 18 from Yoga City Rishikesh Railway Station, is priced at Rs 24,100 onwards. Passengers will experience a blend of devotion, comfort, and heritage on board while visiting some of the holiest Shiva shrines.
Jyotirlingas Covered in the Tour
The journey will include darshan at the following Jyotirlingas:

  • Omkareshwar

  • Mahakaleshwar

  • Nageshwar

  • Somnath

  • Trimbakeshwar

  • Bhimashankar

  • Grishneshwar


Additionally, pilgrims will also visit Dwarkadhish Temple and Bet Dwarka.
Fare Details
Tickets can be booked through the official IRCTC website or authorised outlets. Prices are:

  • Comfort (2AC): Rs 54,390 per person

  • Standard (3AC): Rs 40,890 per person

  • Economy (Sleeper): Rs 24,100 per person


Under the Bharat Gaurav Yojana, passengers can avail up to 33% discount, making the pilgrimage both affordable and convenient.

  • Entry fees at monuments and temples, boating charges, and sightseeing costs not listed in the itinerary

  • Local guide charges, tips, and fuel surcharges

  • Personal expenses such as laundry, beverages, mineral water, or food outside the package

  • Any service not specifically mentioned in the inclusions
