Through this helpline number, women can submit their application and give information about the whole matter. After the call, the Women's Commission will automatically take cognizance of the matter and take necessary action.

Earlier, women had to complete the paperwork to register a complaint. Which took a lot of time and effort. Many times women left the process midway due to fear or insecurity. Due to which they could not get help.

But now after the release of the helpline number, women will be able to speak their mind fearlessly. This facility will be especially helpful for those women who live under pressure from their home or people around them and cannot reach the commission directly.
