According to religious beliefs, when the lunar eclipse starts, bath, charity, chanting, penance, worship, havan, no auspicious work etc. should be done. Before the eclipse starts, take a resolution by collecting food, water, rice etc. according to your capacity. After this, when the eclipse is over, after bathing in the morning on 8 September, donate all these things to a Brahmin and touch their feet and take blessings. Also, at the end of the eclipse, provide food to a needy person.
