News India Live, Digital Desk: There has been political earthquake in neighboring Nepal these days. The reason is a ban on social media, which made the youth so angry that they took to the streets. This protest increased so much that it became violent, many people lost their lives and amidst this pressure, a minister of the government left his chair. The government was banned. But the youth of the country, who are being called “Jane-G” (GEN Z), considered this decision to be an attempt to ‘suppress’ their ‘voice’. He said that the government is taking away their freedom to divert attention from real issues like corruption. What was it then, in many big cities of Kathmandu, thousands of students and youth took to the streets. He had placards in his hands, on which it was written – “Stop corruption, not social media”. Seeing this, this peaceful performance became violent. More than 19 people died in clashes between police and protesters and hundreds of injured incidents shook the Agriculture Minister Ramnath Adhikari. He said in his resignation that the government which should make a future with the youth of the country, is committing violence on them. He said that to remain in such a government is against his conscience, where the right to perform peaceful demonstrations of the citizens is being crushed in this way.
