A cinema enthusiast has declared one particular film as among the "finest movies" of the decade - and it's currently streaming on Netflix. In recent weeks, numerous programmes have captured public attention, including controversial TV dramas and one must-watch Western movie.

He utilised his platform to encourage audiences to view the drama film Hard Truths.

The 2024 drama was penned and helmed by Mike Leigh, featuring a cast that includes Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Michele Austin, and David Webber.

Based in London, the storyline centres on a troubled woman and her bond with her sibling.

The production earned recognition as one of the top 10 independent films of 2024 by the National Board of Review, while Jean-Baptiste secured Best Actress nominations at the Critics' Choice Awards, BAFTA Film Awards and the Gotham Awards.
