NIT Vacancy Eligibility: Educational Qualification

• Technical Assistant / Junior Engineer: First Class B.Tech/B.E or Diploma/MCA in relevant subject
• SAS Assistant: Graduate in Physical Education
• Library & Information Assistant: Degree in Library Science
• Superintendent: Bachelor or Masters degree, Computer knowledge required
• Technician / Senior Technician: 12th + ITI / Diploma (related trade)
• Senior Stenographer: 10+2 + Shorthand 100 wpm
• Stenographer: 10+2 + Shorthand 80 wpm
• Senior Assistant / Junior Assistant: 10+2 + Typing 35 wpm, Computer Proficiency
• Pharmacist: 12th Science + Diploma/Academic in Pharmacy; Must be a registered pharmacist

NIT Vacancy Selection Process: Selection Process

• Screening Test (CBT)
• Post-specific Skill Test (if applicable)
• Final Merit Test, on the basis of which final selection will be decided

NIT Vacancy Age Limit: Age Limit

• The maximum age of the candidates is determined as per the post as on the last date of application (27 September 2025). The maximum age limit is relaxed for reserved categories.

NIT Non Teaching Salary: Salary

• Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, SAS Assistant, Library Assistant, Superintendent – Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month
• Senior Stenographer and Pharmacist – Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300 per month
• Stenographer, Senior Assistant and Senior Technician Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 per month
• Technician and Junior Assistant – Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month
• Apart from salary, you will also get the benefit of DA (dearness allowance), HRA (house rent allowance) and pension schemes.
