Amid the organization of the Cricket Asia Cup 2025, former Australian fast bowler Brett selected the all-time T20 Asia team. He included 5 Indian players, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jaspreet Bumrah. He included 2 Pakistani players in this team, but Babar Azam is not in it. Apart from these, he selected 2 players from UAE and 1 player each from Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are not part of Asia Cup 2025, as they have retired from T20 format last year. Both of them have also said goodbye to Tests this year, now they will be seen playing only in ODI format. India's next ODI series is against Australia next month, for which Rohit has started practicing. Brett first gave place to Virat Kohli and Rohit in his team. However, this was not on the basis of batting order.
