Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 First Elimination: The ninth season of Bigg Boss Telugu has witnessed its first week elimination. The reality show hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni kickstarted on September 7 with a grand premiere episode, introducing a fresh concept and 15 contestants.






In this season's unique setup, commoners are portrayed as owners while celebrities are tenants. As BBT9 concluded its first week, viewers had been eagerly waiting to find out who would be the season's first eliminated contestant. During the weekend episode, Nagaarjuna finally announced the result. Shrasti Verma is the first contestant to be eliminated from the BB Telugu house.
Bigg Boss Telugu 9 Nominated Contestants
Following the show's premiere on 7th September, the Bigg Boss house featured intense fights, unexpected twists and the first nomination task. In the first week, nine contestants were nominated. From the Tenants, Sanjana Galrani, Rithu Chowdhary, Jabardasth Emmanuel, Thanuja Puttaswamy, Suman Setty, Ramu Rathod and Asha Saini aka Flora Saini were in the danger zone. From the Owners, Demon Pawan was also nominated.
Bigg Boss Telugu 9 First Eliminated Contestant
Choreographer Shrasti Verma is the first contestant to be evicted from the house. Host Nagarjuna announced the first-week eviction of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 during the weekend episode on September 14. The first contestant to get safe from elimination was Thanuja.
 



 
Bigg Boss Telugu 9 First Weekend Episodes
Nagarjuna reviewed the contestants' performance throughout the week. He also questioned masked man Harish and Emmanuel about the fight that shook the Bigg Boss house this week. The fight erupted between the two when Emmanuel called Harish a 'bald uncle'. Addressing the issue, Nagarjuna asked the housemates whether Emmanuel was joking when he made a comment about Harish. In response, everyone said yes. The host also showed a clip of Harish using the phrase 'red flower' for other contestants. In another clip, Harish talked about Emmanuel, Bharani, and Tanuja. After watching the videos, Harish said, "I haven't done anything wrong. They are deliberately portraying me wrongly." He also apologised to Emmanuel, saying he wants to quit the show. Nagarjuna made him understand his mistake.
The second Weekend episode saw Mirai actors Teja Sajja and Ritika Nayak join Nagarjuna on stage. They interacted with contestants.
