The movie shows the safety, respect and rights of girls quite closely.

At the 64th National Film Awards, the film Pink won the award in the other social issue Best Film Category. At the same time, Pink received 5 nominations at the 62nd Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress. Ritesh Shah won the award for the best dialogues. The movie was made in a budget of 32 crores and earned more than expected. Its collection was 157.32 crores.

2 remakes in South made by the film Pink

After the film Pink became a hit, 2 remakes were made in South. The first remake was made in 2019 under the name Nerkonda Parvai in Tamil. Its director was H Winoth and was produced by Boney Kapoor. It featured Ajit Kumar, Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariyang in the lead roles. The movie earned 181.45 crores. The second film was made in Telugu in 2021 as a lawyer Saab. Directed by Venu Shri Ram, this movie was produced by Dil Raju, Sirish and Boney Kapoor. Pawan Kalyan, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, Prakash Raj and Shruti Haasan were in the lead roles in it. The movie earned 150 crores.
