In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 , contestant Tanya Mittal finally addressed the much-talked-about viral story surrounding her frequent trips to Dubai just to eat Baklava . During a casual conversation, Gaurav Khanna asked Tanya about the buzz, teasing her about whether she really traveled all the way to Dubai only for the popular Middle Eastern dessert.
Tanya laughed and clarified the story, explaining that the viral reel was just a fun snippet and not the full picture. “From Gwalior, I visit Morena for work. Everyone knows I record everything for vlogs. Once I felt like having sweets, Baklava, and I said, ‘Chalo Dubai.’ So from Morena, we took the car to Delhi, booked a flight to Dubai, had Baklava, and within an hour, we again flew back to Delhi. This would happen quite a few times, and it’s all in the vlogs,” Tanya explained with a smile.
Gaurav, still curious, asked, “As a businesswoman , don’t you think you should ask the sweet seller to send you Baklava instead of you traveling there? It will save your time.”
Tanya then revealed the real reason behind her frequent visits. “Actually, I am planning to set up my business there, and I go for investor meetings. In the video, only the sweet part is shown, and that’s how it became viral,” she clarified, putting the rumors to rest.
Once Tanya left, Gaurav and Mridul Tiwari discussed her explanation. While Gaurav tried to make sense of her statements, Mridul remained skeptical, remarking that the “work in Dubai” angle hadn’t been mentioned before and might just be a new narrative, predicting more twists ahead.
Later, when contestants complimented Tanya on her elegant saree, she revealed another heartwarming detail. Tanya shared that she has adopted a village in Rajasthan, providing employment to around 500 women and girls. The saree she wore was a gift from the women she supports, leaving everyone impressed by her philanthropic efforts.

The episode gave viewers a mix of drama, clarification, and inspiration, highlighting Tanya’s multi-faceted personality beyond the viral Baklava reel.
