Strictly Come Dancing contestant Thomas Skinner has been spotted out and about for the first time since admitting to cheating on his wife days after tying the knot. Over the weekend, The Apprentice star confessed he had a "two-week fling" with a beauty clinic boss just two weeks after he said 'I Do' to his wife Sinead. The businessman said he later apologised to his wife.

The 34-year-old candidly admitted that his affair was the "biggest mistake" of his life. It is understood that the upcoming Strictly star met the woman while at a pub, and claims that she offered him "cosmetic slimming treatments".

The fling took place just two weeks after he and his wife walked down the aisle in May 2022. An emotional Thomas said his wife, the mother of his three children, is the best thing to have happened to him, and he instantly felt guilty after sleeping with beauty clinician Amy-Lucy O'Rourke.

He says he woke up and instantly regretted his infidelity. Speaking of his wife, Thomas gushed: "I'm so lucky she forgave me. It was the worst thing I've ever had to do. It was terrible. I'm a very, very open book, and I don't hide away from my wife. She was obviously distraught, upset."

Days after making the shocking admission, the market trader was spotted arriving at Strictly rehearsals in a high-top Transit van with a parking ticket slapped on the dashboard. After parking his vehicle, he was seen speaking on his phone while holding a large bottle of juice and a sports bag. He was wearing a purple polo shirt, which he teamed with grey shorts.

He also wore black dance shoes with his wedding ring noticeably visible throughout the tough rehearsals ahead of him. When Thomas confessed to cheating, he said he understood if his wife, Sinead, never wanted to speak to him again after his admission.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Thomas explained: "No one else made me do what I've done. But it just shows how something so brief could ruin your life." Now, Sinead is his rock whom he says had made him into the man he is today.

He gushed: "My wife is my rock. She's the person I adore more than anything in the world. And I let her down, I'm ashamed. I'm so fortunate my wife's forgiven me, she didn't deserve it. I was a selfish person."

Today, the couple are the happiest they've ever been, with Sinead supporting him throughout his time on Strictly Come Dancing. But Thomas claimed his grief played a part in his decision to stray, with the fling coming just one day after his close friend, known affectionately as Big Mark, had sadly died.

Mark had taken Thomas in when he was homeless and acted as a father figure to him. However, the woman Thomas cheated with claims that it was more than a fling and claims she was in a relationship with Thomas.

A spokesperson for Amy-Lucy told press: "This has been an incredibly stressful and painful chapter in Amy-Lucy's life. She did not have a fling with Mr Skinner, she had a relationship with him and was deceived then treated appallingly. She will consider her response and speak her truth in due course."
