Gulki Joshi is gearing up to play Mallika in her upcoming show Rishton Ka Chakravyuh , joining a cast that includes Navina Bole, Saqib Ayub, Rrahul Sudhir, and Shoib Nikash Shah. As the trailer builds buzz among viewers, Joshi has also opened up about her journey, her bond with fans, and how she deals with online trolling .
Gulki revealed that she faces trolling like every actor. However, she has been lucky that her fans defend her on social media before she needs to respond. She further expressed her gratitude towards her fans and thanked them for the immense love and support.
“Yes, I do get trolls and messages and I’ve been lucky in one thing — I’ve never had to directly face the trolls,” Gulki said. “Before I say anything, it’s my fans who come forward and react when I’m trolled. I truly love my fans.”
She also reflected on her career so far. “I’ve really worked very hard to be where I am today. Some may agree to it and some may not, but I’d love to get all the love and appreciation for the work.” In an exclusive chat with Times of India TV, Joshi spoke about Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, her industry journey, and more. While talking about her journey as an actor and what motivated her to pursue this career, she shared, “Growing up, I used to wonder if I wanted to become a doctor, an archaeologist, or something else. Hence, I decided to become an actor so that I could do a little bit of everything.” Talking about her dream roles, Gulki added, “I’d love to play Wonder Woman or any such superhero role — it really excites me. Yes, I do try to take roles that challenge me as an actor; sometimes it’s possible, sometimes it’s not.”
Describing her role in Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, she revealed, “Mallika is a timid little housewife from Indore, and it’s the journey of that scared little girl who turns into a diva.”
