CBSE Exam 2025 Attendance Rule: CBSE has implemented some rules and conditions regarding board examinations. Students appearing for CBSE board exams should know about these rules. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to sit in the exam. To appear in the board exam, students must have 75 percent attendance. The board has said that internal assessment is now a part of the board exam. If any student does not go to school, their internal assessment will not be done, and their result will also be withheld.

What will happen if he does not go to school?

CBSE has described these rules as part of the new education policy. If a student does not go to school, they will be placed in the essential repeat category, and the child will have to take the exam again in the second year. Apart from this, the board has also clarified that five subjects are compulsory in class 10, and two subjects can be taken extra. In class 12, only 1 subject will be allowed to be taken additionally.

What is the matter regarding additional subjects?
These additional subjects will have to be studied for two years. That means additional subjects of the 10th will have to be decided and taken in the 9th. And additional subjects of 12th will have to be taken in 11th. Private students do not need to be affiliated with any school to take the exam. They can study on their own and take the exam. Schools which do not have adequate teachers, labs or facilities cannot offer additional subjects.
