The highly-anticipated drama ‘Sanwal Yaar Piya’ made its debut last night, but instead of praise, it has sparked disappointment among fans of actor Feroze Khan, who was notably absent from the first episode despite being prominently featured in the show’s promotions.

Starring Ahmed Ali Akbar, Durefishan Saleem, and Feroze Khan, and created by the acclaimed writer Hashim Nadeem and director Danish Nawaz, the project was expected to make a strong opening. Viewers were introduced to key characters in the first episode, including Ahmed Ali Akbar’s character Sanwal, who appeared in vibrant, colorful outfits and received appreciation for his performance.

However, Feroze Khan – one of the show’s biggest stars – did not appear in the premiere episode. Fans, who had been eagerly waiting for his comeback on television, expressed their frustration on social media, accusing the makers of misleading promotions.

“They used Feroze Khan for promotions and he is not even in the first episode?” one viewer wrote.

Another commented, “Feroze to aya nahin,” while a third added, “Hero ki entry to reh gayi.”This drama marks Feroze Khan’s return to the screen after a period of controversy surrounding his personal life. Initially, the project underwent major cast changes, with Khan remaining while other actors exited.

His delayed entry has clearly not sat well with fans, many of whom tuned in solely for his performance. However, sources close to the production confirmed that Feroze Khan will make his appearance in Episode 2, set to air tonight.Whether this upcoming episode will win back disappointed fans remains to be seen, but for now, Sanwal Yaar Piya has had a rocky start in terms of audience satisfaction.
