Blackrock has taken office space lease in Bengaluru.

Blackrock, the world's largest asset management company, has taken a big decision to increase its business in India. The company's Indian branch, Blackrock Services India, has signed a deal to take a new office in the Central Business District (CBD) in Bengaluru. This office company has leased for 10 years, which costs around 410 crores. This deal is considered to be one of the biggest deals of recent times in terms of flexible office space in India.

The office is spread over 1.43 lakh sq ft

Blackrock's new office is built in Indicube Symphony Building on the famous MG Road in Bangalore. This high-profile office is spread over 1.43 lakh sq ft and it includes ground plus 5 i.e. 6 floors. This lease will start from 1 October 2025 and it has been registered recently. According to the information received, Blackrock will pay around Rs 2.72 crore every month, which has been fixed at Rs 190 per sq ft. Apart from this, the company has also deposited security deposit of Rs 21.75 crore. It has also been decided in the lease agreement that the fares will increase by 5% every year.

Indicube mega project

This office is part of a large and long -lasting project of Indicube. Under this project, the company is preparing an area of ​​about 3.2 lakh sq ft by mixing three towers in CBD of Bengaluru. The entire project is named 'Indicube Symphony', which will be fully renovated and upgraded in the next 15 years.

The objective of this project is to give premium managed workspace to large and large enterprise clients. At present, Indicube is running 115 office centers in 15 cities of the country, with a total of 8.4 million square feet of space and more than 1.86 lakh seats. Bengaluru has alone became the largest market in Indicube with 65 centers and 5.43 million sq ft space.

Blackrock is excited about India

This is not the first time Blackrock has taken a premium office space in India. Earlier, the company leased over 42,700 sq ft in a magnificent commercial building in Worli, Mumbai for 5 years. Blackrock is constantly taking steps to create a strong hold in India's fast growing financial and tech sector.
