For creators on YouTube, increasing subscribers is not just a number, but proof of their journey and hard work. This is why YouTube honors its top creators with special play buttons. The biggest and most difficult award among these is the Red Diamond Creator Award.

This award is given only to those channels that cross the mark of 100 million (10 crore) subscribers. This award is given to the creators who have achieved the highest position in the world of YouTube. To date, very few creators have been able to reach this position, and hence, this award is considered very exclusive.

Who can get the Red Diamond Play Button?

Just having 100 million subscribers is not enough to get this award. Along with this, some strict conditions also have to be fulfilled:
The channel must be active, and at least one upload must have been made in the last six months.
There should not be any Community Guidelines violations active on the channel.
The content should be completely original and authentic, not copy-paste or spam.
The channel should be fully compliant with YouTube's Terms of Service.
The channel should not be linked to any terminated account.

Features of the Red Diamond Button
This award is inspired by the Diamond Play Button, but it has a large, deep red crystal shining like a diamond, which is in the triangle shape of the play button logo.
It is made of silver-plated metal.
Since reaching 100 million subscribers is almost impossible, this award is only given to selected channels. To date, only 14 creators have been able to become entitled to YouTube's Red Diamond Button.

Other YouTube Awards

Before the Red Diamond, YouTube presents several other milestone awards:

Silver Creator Award: 100,000 subscribers
Gold Creator Award: 1 million subscribers
Diamond Creator Award: 10 million subscribers

YouTube thoroughly reviews channels before awarding them to ensure they comply with all regulations and provide original, unique, and safe content to viewers.

In this way, the Red Diamond Play Button is not just a trophy, but a milestone for creators, recognizing their content's continued success and connecting with a global audience.
