Kodinhi village is the only village in the country where only twins live. According to a report, the population of this village is around 2000 and where there are more than 400 twins. The most surprising is that this village has the most twin children compared to any part of India.

According to data, 8 or 9 twins are born in every 1000 children in the country. But 42 to 45 twins are born on 1000 children in Kodinhi, Kerala. According to the year 2018, there were 280 twin children here. The age of more children in the village is under 15 years. There are 80 twins in a school here. Scientists also could not solve mystery

An attempt was also made by scientists to resolve this mystery. However, no concrete reason behind this extraordinary incident has been known. At the same time, according to some scientists, there is a special element in the food or water of the people here that increases the birth of a twin child. But the reason for this is mysterious.

In 2016, a team of researchers went to this village. The team also visited the German research with CSIR Center for Center for Cellular and Modular Biology, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies and London University. Whose purpose was to find out the mystery of this village. But this mystery has not been covered.
