Aishwarya lost due to weak English
In a conversation with Vicky Lalwani, Prahlad Kakkar said that Aishwarya was defeated by her weak English in Miss India Contest. He says, “There was no such enmity between the two. The reality was that Aishwarya had just started her career, she was just raw, while Sushmita Sen was more polished due to coming from the convent school. It was not so with Aishwarya Rai. So when people have to perform in English, people who are not good in that language are not good, this is the reason why Sushmita is not harmed.
