The petrol Nexon uses a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged Revotron engine producing 88.2 hp and 170 Nm of peak torque. Buyers can choose from four gearbox options: a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT).

Tata Nexon Electric Variants And Prices
The Nexon EV comes with two battery pack options: a 30 kWh unit and a larger 45 kWh unit. The smaller pack powers a 95 kW motor and delivers a real-world range of 210-230 km. The larger pack uses a 106 kW motor with a claimed 350-375 km of range.

While the Nexon petrol starts at around Rs 8.9 lakh and tops out near Rs 14.5 lakh, the Nexon Electric begins at Rs 12.49 lakh and goes up to about Rs 17.5 lakh. Buyers choosing the electric version pay a premium, but in return get zero tailpipe emissions, a quieter drive, and significantly lower running costs over time. Prices of the Nexon petrol are expected to come down by about Rs 1.55 lakh due to the recent GST 2.0 price cut.
