Aryan Khan ’s much-awaited directorial debut 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood' finally premiered on Thursday, and social media is abuzz with all the epic moments, superstar cameos, hilarious scenes, dialogues and more.
However, it was the series content drawn from real life and the director's time with his superstar dad Shah Rukh Khan that earned the loudest cheers. Viewers flooded social media, pointing out what they believe are heartfelt nods to father SRK's most iconic onscreen and off-screen moments.
Some felt it drew an emotional reference to Khan's personal speech during his award win. A fan post read, "The scene in The Ba***ds of Bollywood that made us cry. Aryan Khan knows how much Shah Rukh Khan Sir loves his parents. It’s like seeing Aryan Khan in Lakshya - Shah Rukh Khan Sir’s face shines with happiness and emotion - proud of his son and grateful for his parents’ love."

One scene in particular, which left audiences laughing out loud and also teary-eyed, was the award show scene. Some also drew comparisons to the award show sequence in Om Shanti Om, writing: “This scene totally reminded me of the award show scene from Om Shanti Om. Like father, like son."

Another widely discussed moment was dubbed “The Meta Reference of K3G”, with fans linking the funeral scene to the classic family drama 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'.
The parallels left fans both stunned and delighted, one admitted, “I DIDN’T EVEN NOTICE THE CONNECTION, That’s so cool! <3”
While Aryan has not explicitly addressed whether these moments were intentional tributes, the show has given fans plenty of material to draw theories, adding layers of excitement to the series.
