Harshita Soni of Hisar, Haryana, who mysteriously disappeared about a year ago, has finally been recovered from Delhi. Harshita’s family and police have reached Hisar with him. However, Harshita has not yet been assigned to the family. The police is engaged in completing paperwork. In this case, social media, especially Instagram, played a big role. Come, let’s know this whole story.

Instagram post showed the way

Harshita’s father Sunil Soni said that the family had resorted to social media in search of her daughter. Sunil said, “My son used to post a continuous post on Instagram videos of Harshita’s disappearance. A young man from Delhi approached me after seeing one of these videos. He told that a girl, who looks like Harshita, is living in her locality.” This information gave a new hope to the family.

Police reached Delhi, family met daughter

Sunil further said, “As soon as we got the information of that young man, we contacted the State Crime Incharge Rajesh. After this we reached Delhi with the police. We met the young man who called us. Then we discovered our daughter. Seeing him, we were filled with our eyes. We talked to Harshita, he is completely safe.

Mother’s heart filled

Harshita’s mother said emotionally, “We are very happy. Police, especially Rajesh ji has a huge contribution. My daughter has been found. She said to me, ‘Mother, don’t cry, I am fine.’ My 10 -year -old son used to upload a video on Instagram.

When and how Harshita disappeared?

Harshita, a 16 -year -old daughter of Sunil Soni, a resident of Azad Nagar, Hisar, left the house on 29 September 2024 at 6:10 am. She was sitting in an auto on the main road, but after that she was not found. The family filed a missing report at Azad Nagar police station on the same day and also submitted CCTV footage to the police. But no clue was found in the beginning.

Family anger and strike

The unhappy family protested several times by the initial police investigation. Outside the small secretariat, the family sat on a dharna and pressured the police to search for their daughter. Every time they get only assurance. Due to the absence of a daughter, the disappointment of the family and resentment towards the police increased.

Father took a dreadful step

Troubled by the sluggish police, Sunil Soni tried to meet Chief Minister Naib Saini. But when not met, Sunil attempted self -immolation at a program of CM. He was then introduced to CM. Sunil told the CM that an ASI investigating Harshita’s case had demanded Rs 15,000. On this, the CM ordered an inquiry against ASI and on January 9, by making SIT, handed over the matter to the Crime Branch. Hisar SP also announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for Harshita’s address.

Instagram became Sanjeevani

When no solution was found for a year, the family started posting a video on Instagram. Harshita’s younger brother uploaded several videos. One of these videos was seen by a young man from Delhi and informed the family. On the basis of this information, the police recovered Harshita from Delhi. The strength of social media played a big role in this matter and a family got his lost daughter back.
