Illegal occupation of two plots near the Polytechnic intersection in Lucknow. Investigation revealed that both these plots had already been auctioned, but the allottees have not yet registered. On this, the LDA has prepared to issue a notice.
LDA VC Prathamesh Kumar found during the inspection that slums, junk, motor service, battery charging and chemical business are going on in several plots in Gomtinagar and Vibhuti sections. Even the slum has been erected on a plot of about 3200 square meters near the railway station.
An inquiry committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma in this case. This committee will report within 15 days and after that illegal occupation will be removed. The occupation free plots will then be sold through e-auction.
Inspection also revealed that Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia is running a cart-khomche and car washing center on the plots near the Institute of Medical Sciences. At the same time, illegal activities on plots were found in Vastu Khand and Viraj Khand-2.
VC Prathamesh Kumar has clearly stated that no allotte will be allowed to occupy or leave the plot empty. Notices will be issued in all cases and action will be taken within the stipulated time.
