The Repair Shop chiefs have revealed that the beloved programme will make its comeback in October - leaving viewers absolutely delighted.

The news broke on the programme's official Instagram page, and whilst supporters were chuffed about the show's television return, some spotted that certain specialists were missing from the promotional snap.

Accompanied by a photograph of several experts, the programme posted: "Step back into the workshop of dreams!".

"The all-new series of The Repair Shop begins Wednesday, October 1st at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer."

One supporter replied to the announcement: "Someone very important to the show's success is still missing," reports Gloucestershire Live.

"Where are the teddy bear ladies?" another enquired whilst a third repeated: "Teddy bear ladies, shoe expert and toy repair person?"

Another continued: "Teddy bear ladies not in picture?"

Expressing their enthusiasm for the series, one penned: "Really looking forward to it."

Another devotee commented: "I cannot wait! I love the show and how amazing you all are!".

The Teddy Bear Ladies, Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell, have established themselves as absolute favourites on The Repair Shop and frequently update their followers about their everyday activities when they're not recording.

The pair, who have recently published a book, revealed they had embarked on a fresh professional endeavour alongside fellow Repair Shop specialist Richard Talman.

Breaking the news on social media, the Teddy Bear Ladies declared: "The countdown has begun

"Here is the first glimpse of the new Bartie Bristle jewellery range. We have collaborated with @rtfj to produce these amazing pendants of our adorable little bear.

"Soon to be available for you to purchase. We will announce when the website is live. Check back regularly. You don't want to miss out."
