National Film Awards 2025: A grand event of the 71st National Film Awards ceremony was held on 23 September at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. In this ceremony, the finest artists and creative talents of Indian cinema were honored. President Draupadi Murmu gave awards in many major categories including Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director.
While Mohanlal got the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey jointly received the best actor, only a 5 -year -old girl Trisha Vivek Thosar made headlines throughout the program.
Trisha Vivek Thosar, adorned in a simple beige colored saree, won everyone’s heart with her innocent smile and easily. He won the best child artist award for Marathi film Naal 2. The special thing is that Trisha completed the shooting of this film when she was just 3 years old.
When Trisha reached the stage to take the award, President Draupadi Murmu congratulated her personally. At this moment the entire science building echoed with the thunderous applause. Trisha said that I am very happy and grateful for this honor.
This year a total of 5 children were honored in the best child artist category. Along with Trisha, Srinivas Pokhale, Bhargava Jagtap, Kabir Khandare and Sukriti Veni Bandreddy also received the award. However, Trisha’s innocence and blossoming smile made her the real star of the evening.
Despite young age, Trisha Vivek Thosar has shown her performance in Hindi and Marathi films. He has shared the screen with big artists like Mahesh Manjrekar and Siddharth Jadhav. His role in Manjrekar’s film Punha Shivaji Raje Bhosle was highly appreciated. But his real Breakthrough came through Nal 2, which gave him recognition at the national level.
