New Delhi: ARC Electric is a B2B cab service that provides EV cabs for companies, for use cases such as airport pickups and drops or employee transport, and intercity travel for businesses with a focus on reliable green rides without surge pricing. To be clear, ARC Electric serves companies rather than individual ride-hail customers. They supply and manage EV cabs for corporate clients, and bring local electric cab operators under the ARC Alliance platform, so a company can get EV cab services across many cities via one network. The sophisticated use of technology ensures safety and efficiency with fleet management, routing and predictive pricing. We spoke to CEO and Co-Founder of ARC Electric, Abhinav Kalia to better understand their operations.

Explaining the benefits of the platform, Kalia says, “At ARC Electric, technology forms the backbone of our fleet operations. We use advanced telematics and AI-powered analytics to optimize routing, reduce idle time, and enhance overall energy efficiency. Cloud-based fleet management platforms allow us to monitor driver behavior, vehicle health, and battery performance in real time. This ensures predictive maintenance, minimizing breakdowns and downtime. From a client perspective, these tools translate into ~25 per cent cost savings and measurable reductions in carbon footprint, which directly support ESG reporting.”

Safety is paramount at ARC Electric

The company does detailed background checks on the drivers to ensure the safety for their clients. Kalia explains, “Safety is equally crucial, our system integrates driver vetting, live monitoring, and automated alerts for compliance, ensuring employee commutes remain secure and reliable. By embedding intelligence into every journey, technology has allowed us to scale rapidly while maintaining high service standards, proving that connected, data-driven fleets are essential for the next phase of corporate mobility in India.”

For environmentally responsible companies, ARC Electric has data to backup their claims of ‘green mobility’. Kalia reveals, “Corporates today demand not only financial efficiency but also measurable environmental impact. Through our EV-first fleet model, companies are seeing up to 25 per cent savings in mobility costs compared to traditional fuel-based fleets. This is achieved through optimized energy consumption, reduced dependency on volatile fuel prices, and better asset utilization. On the environmental front, our operations have collectively helped clients avoid thousands of tons of CO₂ emissions annually, a figure that continues to grow as adoption scales. For instance, a single mid-sized corporate with 100 EVs integrated into its employee commute program saves the equivalent of planting over 10,000 trees per year in carbon offset terms. These outcomes are not just anecdotal but supported by detailed telematics data and carbon accounting reports, which many of our clients now use in their ESG disclosures. This dual benefit of cost and carbon savings is driving momentum for EV adoption in corporate mobility.”
