Exciting News for Malayalam Cinema Fans

New Delhi: Tovino Thomas, a prominent figure in Malayalam cinema known for his performances in films like Minnal Murali (2018) and Ennu Ninte Moideen, is gearing up to lead the cast of Lokah Chapter 2.


This sequel follows the recent release of Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, which was both penned and directed by Dominic Arun, who also takes the helm for this new installment.


The film features a talented cast including Kalyani Priyadarshan, Sandy, and Naslen. The first chapter, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, hit theaters on August 28 and was produced by Dulquer Salmaan under his banner, Wayfarer Films.

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra introduced audiences to Malayalam cinema's first female superhero, portrayed by Kalyani as Chandra, a formidable character inspired by mythology, navigating a contemporary world filled with folklore and fantasy.


The film achieved remarkable success, becoming South India's highest-grossing female-led film, surpassing the Rs 100 crore milestone globally within its opening week.


The cast also includes Arun Kurian, Chandu Salimkumar, Nishanth Sagar, Raghunath Paleri, Vijayaraghavan, Nithya Shri, and Sarath Sabha.
