Rashmi Khatri, Dehradun: Uttarakhand Weather, September 29, 2025: With the monsoon’s departure, the heat is intensifying in Uttarakhand. While the rains have stopped, the weather in the mountainous regions has remained pleasant, the heat in the plains has made people sweat.

On Sunday, the maximum temperature in Dehradun reached 35.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature also increased.

People in Uttarakhand breathed a sigh of relief as the monsoon departed. The disasters caused by the continuous rain had left people in a state of panic, and everyone was eagerly awaiting the monsoon’s departure.

But no one expected the weather to turn so harsh after the monsoon’s departure. The heat has been making people sweat for the past few days. On Sunday, Dehradun’s maximum temperature was 35.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature rose three degrees to 22.6 degrees Celsius. This makes the heat unbearable even at night.

Pantnagar recorded a maximum temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. Mukteshwar recorded a maximum temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 14.3 degrees Celsius.
