
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave a big gift to school children in Khirkia in Harda district on 29 September. He transferred an amount of Rs 489 crore to 20,652 non -government schools under one click under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. With this amount, the fees of 8 lakh 45 thousand children studying in the session 2023-24 will be deposited directly in the schools.
Along with this, the Chief Minister also distributed land-worship of development works, inauguration and distribution of funds to the beneficiaries. On this occasion, he explained to the children by narrating the stories of Lord Rama and Shri Krishna-Sudama.
CM Dr. Yadav announced many big development works on the occasion-
The Chief Minister said that today is a special day. Eight and a half lakh children of about 20 thousand schools will benefit. He said that whether the child is studied in private school or its financial condition is weak, the government will take full care of his studies. He informed that the government is paying the fees of private school for every fourth child. Children's education and knowledge will take the country forward.
CM said that our tradition has always been to recognize the power of the youth. He told the story of Maharishi Vishwamitra and Lord Rama-Laxman and told how the difficulties made him great.
Winning the Sita Swayamvar of Lord Rama and breaking the bow of Mahadev is an example of the ability and courage of the youth. He said that in our tradition, the names of women and men are taken together-like Ram-Sita, Radha-Krishna, Shiva-Parvati.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the honor of mothers and sisters is paramount in our culture. He said that some people insult the plan of Ladli sisters and make false accusations on them. Such people should be ashamed. He said that sisters always sacrifice for the family and do the right thing. The government will continue to help them.
Giving the example of Lord Krishna and Sudama's friendship, CM said that no matter how much we progress, we should not forget our roots. He gave a message to the children that one should never be embarrassed in friendship. True friendship is the one in which help is done without showing.
The Chief Minister said that today children are being given bicycle, dress, books, topper students scooty and laptops to those who score 75 percent marks. He said that education of children is the "fixed deposit" of our future. Children should contribute to politics as well as becoming doctors, engineers, teachers.
CM said that the government is constantly working for farmers-
He said that in the Harda explosion accident, the government did immediate relief work and now started the facility of air ambulance for the sick and injured.
Significantly, under the Right to Education Act, 25% seats are reserved for children of underprivileged and weaker sections in private schools.
