John Mayer , the ‘Paper Doll’ singer, is making his trip around India to sing at a concert, marking his first visit to the country. The 47-year-old will perform on January 22, 2026, in Mumbai at Mahalaxmi Racecourse .
John Mayer to visit India for his concertMayer, one of the prolific singers who master rock, pop, and blues, has been performing for a long time at various festivals and events, and now he will be strumming the guitar solo on Indian soil. “India has long been on my list of places to play, not just for the vibrancy of its culture but for the way music lives in the everyday lives of people here. To finally perform in Mumbai feels both humbling and exhilarating," the singer said in the statement, according to PTI. The seven-time Grammy winner will have an exclusive one-night performance.
As per the announcement, the online booking starts on October 12, 2025. Initially, the credit card holders will get the limited exclusive Pre-Sale from 12 noon, which will continue for two days, followed by general admission on October 14, 2025, at 1 p.m. on the BookMyShow website. As of now, Mayer will be performing at the World’s Largest Sky Lantern Festival – Rise, on October 5.
