Noidawas are going to get a big gift amidst the preparations for Diwali. After a long wait, the Bhangel elevated road is likely to be opened to the public in the next 10 days. Noida Authority has sought time from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to inaugurate both projects. The opening of this road will make movement between many areas of the city easier and the problem of traffic jam will be reduced.
Bhangelle elevated road, Dadri-Surajpur-Chhalera (DSC) route is built. This route from Sector-41 Alahpur to Phase-2 drain will prove to be convenient for those coming from Surajpur, Greater Noida and Dadri. Most of the construction of this project started in June 2020 has been completed. Only lighting and some small tasks remain in the final stages.
There was also a dispute over payment during construction. UP State Setu Nigam accused the Noida Authority of being outstanding Rs 150 crore. Despite sending several notices, the corporation decided to take the matter to the High Court when the answer was not received. The corporation has demanded the court to appoint an intermediary. The hearing is likely to be held in October.
Construction of service roads and drains under the elevated road is incomplete due to the payment dispute. Setu Nigam said that it is not possible to complete these tasks due to increased expenditure. For this, an additional Rs 25 crore has been demanded from Noida Authority.
The Noida Authority said that the matter will be resolved by mutual dialogue and the elevated road will be dedicated to the public in October. On opening this route before Diwali, the residents will get a big relief from the traffic jam and Noida will get a new gift.
