Fizzy drinks fans across the UK are buzzing after discovering new delightful refreshment has graced UK supermarket shelvesby Pepsi Max. While October has only just begun, and many of us are sipping on pumpkin spiced lattes and decorating our homes with Halloween decorations, Christmas items are already starting to appear in shops around the UK. And soon, a limited edition range of brand new, sugar-free Gingerbread Pepsi Maxi drink can be found in Tesco.

From Thursday (October 2), the cans can be purchased from Tesco stores around the UK. With twinkles and a gingerbread pattern on the can, they certainly feel festive. The drink is said to be spiced with a warming twist on the original. Plus, it is expected to taste similar to the discontinued Pepsi Max Ginger – a flavour that built up its own cult following.

After popular food and drink page, New Foods UK, shared a sneak peek image of the cans on Instagram and Facebook, people shared their divided opinion.

The post reads: "Trying the new Gingerbread Pepsi! This was better than expected, it somehow just works! The gingerbread flavour isn’t overpowering, just right. Now available at Tesco."

"Interesting," commented one. "Need to give this a try," insisted one other.

"I just picked up a pack of 8," said a keen individual. "I wonder who is going to have these as their next new addiction," commented one other as they tagged a gingerbread-loving pal.

"Need to get these," added another.

Other other suggested: "Nice with rum I'd imagine. They need to start making sugar versions again though." One other agreed, writing: "Bet this tastes like the ginger Pepsi they used to do. Excellent with a dark rum."

A user said: "They made a ginger one a few years ago. I bet its the same one. Used to make ginger sticky chicken with it."

"This is either gonna be really good or incredibly s***," commented another who is unsure.

One sceptical individual added: "I'm a gingerbread girl but no sure about this one." One other agreed, writing: "I love Pepsi Max and Gingerbread but not the combo."

In other fizzy drink news, one individual shared how they saved £120 a year by using a clever gadget. Plus, a woman who claims she had an addiction to Diet Coke has issued advice to otherswho enjoy the soft drink on a regular basis.
