‘Resident Evil’: ‘Severance’ new cast membersAs per reports shared by The Hollywood Reporter, some new cast members have been confirmed to join the new reboot of the iconic film franchise. Zach Cherry , who is best known for his breakout role in the hit series ‘Severance’, Kali Reis , as well as Johnno Wilson, have all been confirmed to join the cast of ‘Resident Evil: Severance.’
Zach Cregger , the famed name behind the horror movie ‘ Weapons ’, has been preparing for the reboot for quite some time now. He will be taking the lead in directing the film from start to finish. Austin Abrams , known for his roles in ‘Do Revenge’, ‘Euphoria’, ‘The Starling Girl’, and many more, has been cast as the lead in the film. He previously collaborated with Cregger on ‘Weapons’ as well, playing the role of a drug addict. ‘ John Wick ’ script writer Shay Hatten has also been onboarded for the big-budget project.
The official production of the film is set to begin by the middle of October, and will first start off in Prague . The official release date for the film has been slated for September 18, 2026.
