New Delhi: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is all set to close the registration process for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) admission for Classes 9 and 11 soon. According to the official schedule, the JNVST Class 9 and 11 admission 2026 will be closed on October 7. Interested candidates who meet all the prerequisites set by the Samiti can apply online for NVS Class 9, 11 admissions 2026 through the official website at navodaya.gov.in.

The exam authority has also announced that JNVST exam for admission to classes 9 and 11 will be held on February 7, 2026. This national-level entrance examination will be conducted in various cities across the country. The JNVST admit card release date and other details will be released in due course.

How to apply online for JNVST Class 9, 11 admissions 2026?

Step 1: Open the official portal of NVS at navodaya.gov.in.

Step 2: Find the JNVST Class 9 and Class 11 admission application form link

Step 3: Start the registration process with basic details

Step 4: Fill in the JNVST application form with all details including academic and personal

Step 5: Pay the application fee, if any

Step 6: Submit the JNVST registration form

Step 7: Download and keep the hard copy of application form for future need

For NVS Class 9 admission, students of the respective districts are eligible to apply. Students must be born between May 1, 2011, and July 31, 2013. For NVS Class 11 admission, Students must be studying in Class X from a government-recognised school of the District where the JNV is located. The age must be between June 1, 2009, and July 31, 2011.
