Last month, Denise Richards , who is known for ‘Two and a Half Men’, ‘Valentine’, and ‘The World is not Enough’, announced that she and her partner Aaron Phypers will be parting ways. Not only that, but she also accused him of abusing her and filed a case for the time. She also got a restraining order against him, regarding which, a court hearing was held on October 6, related to the appeal to make the order permanent. Amid all this, Richard’s husband’s cousin gave a shocking testimony during the latest hearing.
Aaron Phypher’s cousin shares shocking information about him
As per reports from People, Phypher’s cousin, Kathleen McAllister, was present for the hearing that was held on October 6, digitally. During the court hearing, McAllister shared that she herself had seen her cousin abusing Denise . She cited that this incident happened in January 2022.
At the time, she had been working for her cousin at his wellness centre, and shared that “I saw Aaron hit Denise, and immediately she had a really bad black eye, I’m literally in shock now to this day about it.” She also added that she was scared for the actresses’ life as well as her own at this time. “(Phypher) would be raging and threatening that if we told anybody, he’d kill us all. As abuse escalated through the years, he exploited our empathy,” she revealed.
As per her statement, she alleged that the couple had been fighting with one another at the time of the incident. Phypher had allegedly been accusing his wife at the time of installing ‘devices’ in his office to eavesdrop on his conversations. Richards and Phypher parted ways after being married for almost 6 years. During their first court hearing, Phypher demanded that Denise pay him a large sum of money every month under spousal support .
When Denise filed for a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, she had shared that “Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head.”
