Rajat Bedi told that Govinda made Sanjay Dutt wait for 9 hours on the sets of the film 'Jodi No. 1'. Angered by this, Sanjay Dutt got the entire scene changed and gave his dialogues to Govinda.
Govinda is one of the popular actors of the 90s. However, many people were still upset with his habit of often arriving late to the set. Now in an interview, Rajat Bedi recalled how Govinda had made Sanjay Dutt wait for almost nine hours on the sets of the film 'Jodi No. 1'. Along with this, Rajat told that Sanjay Dutt was so angry with Govinda's late arrival that he got the entire scene changed by David Dhawan.
Why did Govinda disappear from the shooting?
Recalling his time on the sets of Jodi No. 1, Rajat Bedi said, 'He (Govinda) took on too much work. In Jodi No. 1, David was supposed to start shooting at 7 am, but Sanjay Dutt and I reached there at 6 am for some reason. However, even after hours passed and the entire team arrived, there was no sign of Govinda on the set. David and all of us were waiting for Govinda to arrive so that we could start the work. Then we came to know that Govinda is at home. So someone from the set was sent to his house and that person remained sitting outside to bring him to the set. When eight hours passed and Govinda did not arrive, Sanjay Dutt lost his temper. By 2 o'clock in the afternoon Sanjay had become very angry.

Why did Sanjay Dutt start abusing during shooting?
Rajat Bedi further said, 'After some time it came to light that Govinda was not even at home. He was scheduled to arrive from Hyderabad at 3 in the afternoon. In those days, no one knew where he was because he used to do 4-5 shifts at that time. When Govinda arrived at 3 pm, the assistant brought the scene to Sanjay. In such a situation, he saw how many dialogues he had in the scene. In such a situation, he refused to remember them and said that they should be given to Govinda. After this Sanju started abusing the assistant and told him, you give this dialogue to Govinda, I will not do it. In this way the entire scene was changed at that very moment. However, Govinda completed the shooting in just two hours.
