Captain Gill, standing on the other side, first ran for the run but when he saw that the ball had gone into the fielder’s hand, he stopped, but by then Jaiswal had come far ahead and Gill also signaled him to go back towards him.

Jaiswal tried to return to the crease but he had to lose his wicket in the form of run out. A little haste here proved costly for Yashasvi Jaiswal. Captain Gill also looked very disappointed on Jaiswal’s run out.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was batting amazingly in this match and he was very close to another double century in his Test career. But luck did not favor him. On the second day, Yashasvi Jaiswal was out after playing a brilliant inning of 175 runs.
