Luhan, a former member of EXO, recently made headlines after cancelling certain dates of his concert tour only days before. The move sent a shockwave across the artist’s fandom, as the reason behind the move was not clarified until much later.
Luhan cancels latest tour dates
At the beginning of the year, the singer had announced that he would be holding his ‘6th edition’ tour this year. So far, he had already covered all the venue spots in Singapore and Macau , and was preparing for Malaysia , Hong Kong, and Japan. On October 7, however, the artist and his management agency took to online social media portals to share devastating news with fans.
He announced through an official notice that they will have to cancel the official tour dates for both Malaysia as well as Japan. The reason behind the cancellation was cited as health concerns related to the singer.
Luhan compensates fans for their issues
The singer then shared that in order to help fans out in the matter, they will be processing reimbursements of all the tickets as soon as possible. Other than that, they also issued another statement that sent fans into a frenzy, praising the artist for caring about his fans on another level.
The second statement read that whoever had large travel expenses paid in order to attend his concert will also be reimbursed properly. The management shared that fans will be compensated for the flight and will be paid a maximum compensation amount of 2000 RMB. They will also be reimbursed for accommodation if the cancellation results in a major loss of money, as well as service taxes. The cap for this amount has been set at 800 RMB per individual.
