Celebrity Traitors viewers are only just catching on to the fact that Cat Burns is the mastermind behind a viral song they've been belting out for years.
The 25-year-old songstress is amongst 19 famous personalities who've entered the BBC contest with hopes of scooping up to £100,000 for their chosen charity.
Presenter Claudia Winkleman handpicked Cat as one of her Traitors, alongside chat show legend Jonathan Ross and comedian Alan Carr.
Being a Gen Z sensation, the musician isn't quite as instantly recognisable as the likes of Jonathan and Alan, who've graced our screens for decades.
However, she catapulted into the mainstream spotlight in 2022 when her track 'Go' became a social media phenomenon on TikTok, reports the Daily Record.
Even those steering clear of social platforms will likely recognise the heartbreak ballad, which earned a Song of the Year nomination at the 2023 BRITs.
The track tells the story of infidelity, with Cat crooning from the viewpoint of the wronged party. The chorus states:
"So don't call this number anymore
'Cause I won't be there for you like I was before
I should have listened to my friends they always know best
They said you were just like all the rest
So I'll sing it loud in case you don't already know
Pack up your s**** and go, go, go, go."
Cat originally dropped the number in July 2020 and it proved massively popular.
It attracted more fame in late 2021, when TikTok devotees stumbled upon the tune again and started sharing clips of themselves miming along to it.
By summer 2022, the catchy pop song had rocketed up the UK singles charts, reaching an impressive number two.
Despite its widespread popularity, fans of Celebrity Traitors hadn't made the connection between Cat and the popular tune.
One fan took to TikTok to share a clip of themselves singing along to 'Go', captioning it: "There I was thinking I had no clue who Cat from Traitors was...."
The revelation also surprised others, with one commenting: "She made this song? I thought she just covered it."
Another added: "I didn't know this was her song."
A long-term fan chimed in, saying: "My favourite genre of TikTok atm is people discovering they like her songs but didn't know her face hahah. Go stream it xx."
And another wrote: "How is everyone finding out who Cat Burns is from Traitors? I am watching Traitors BECAUSE of her."
The Celebrity Traitors continues on BBC One and iPlayer tonight at 9pm
