New Delhi: Asia’s largest science and technology festival, Techfest – IIT Bombay, has announced the launch of its flagship series of technical workshops for its 29th edition. The event will be held from December 21 to 24, 2025, at the IIT Bombay campus.

The workshops aim to foster innovation and hands-on learning by offering participants practical exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, stock market analysis, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics. Curated in collaboration with leading industry experts and academic mentors, the sessions are designed to bridge the gap between theoretical education and real-world applications.

“These workshops aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry skills. Attendees will not only learn the latest technologies but also gain the confidence to apply their knowledge in real-world projects,” the Techfest organising team said in a statement.

Participants will receive professional certificates from IIT Bombay and gain complimentary access to all Techfest events. Experts from major institutions such as Amazon, Google, and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) are expected to lead several of the sessions.

Exclusive early-bird registrations have begun on a first-come, first-served basis at techfest.org/workshops, with organisers noting that seats are limited.

TV9 and News9 are digital media partners to the event.
