Jharkhand News: The South Asian Athletics Championships 2025 was inaugurated grandly at the Birsa Munda Football Stadium in Ranchi. This three-day international competition is being organized till 26 October. Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren inaugurated this championship. During this time the stadium was packed with players, spectators and school children, which made the entire atmosphere enthusiastic.

Players from six countries are taking part

Players from six South Asian countries India (host), Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Sri Lanka are participating in this championship. There will be exciting matches for medals in a total of 36 events in the competition, which include events in both men’s and women’s categories. On the first day, 9 medal events were organized, in which many exciting final matches caught the attention of the spectators.
