Chitrakoot, 25 October (Read News). Famous storyteller Morari Bapu flagged off the Ram Yatra on Saturday in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Rajendra Shukla and IRCTC officials. This journey will be completed by rail and air routes to the historical sites to the exile of Lord Ram. This journey will start from Chitrakoot and reach Rameshwaram by train.

After this, it will follow the footsteps of Lord Shri Ram through airplane from Rameshwaram to Sri Lanka and from Sri Lanka to Ayodhya. Along with this, Shri Ram Katha will also be organized at all the places.

At the beginning of the Yatra, Morari Bapu said that the route taken by Lord Shri Ram during his exile is known as Ram Van Gaman Path or Ram Yatra. This journey inspires to rise above worldly attachments, maintain moral integrity and overcome evil. Said that in this holy journey everyone should leave behind jealousy, hatred and condemnation and should carry with them truth, love and compassion.

On the first day of the yatra, all the devotees including Morari Bapu left for Atri Muni Ashram located in Dharmanagari from the railway station. Where Morari Bapu narrated the first Ram Katha of this journey.

In the first story of Ram Yatra, Morari Bapu told that this place holds great importance because Lord Ram, Lakshman and Sita were welcomed with reverence in the ashram of Maharishi Atri and Mahasati Anusuya during their exile. Atri Muni recognized the divine form of Shri Ram and sang his praises. Mahasati Anusuya had taught Sita about women’s religion and the duties of a devoted wife and given her such jewelery whose shine never diminishes. After the story ended, all the devotees went back to the Ram Yatra train, which left from Chitrakoot railway station for the next destination.

This journey will be completed in 11 days and will cover a distance of more than 8,000 kilometers. There are a total of 22 coaches in the train for this journey, in which a total of 411 devotees are travelling. This train has been specially decorated as a symbol of Ram Van Gaman Yatra. Each coach is named after the destination of the journey. During this yatra, 9 Shri Ram stories will be recited at various spiritual places in India and Sri Lanka. Huge pandals will be set up for devotees at each destination. People from every class will be able to take part in Shri Ram Katha. Bhandara will be organized at each site, in which food will be served as Prasad every day.

This yatra, organized by Sant Kripa Sanatan Sansthan of Madan Paliwal, will pass through various places and end in Ayodhya on November 4. Based on the eternal values of truth, love and compassion, this Ram Yatra reflects the continuing mission of spreading the teachings of Shri Ramcharitmanas and strengthening the spiritual fabric of humanity.
