PM Kisan 21st Installment: To avail the benefits of the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, farmers must register themselves. Without registration, the installment money will not be credited to their bank accounts. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has made special arrangements for farmer registration.
PM Kisan 21st Installment: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched a Farmer Registration Campaign in the interest of farmers. Farmer registration camps are being organized in every village. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed all district magistrates to set up farmer registration camps in every village by November 30th. They have been instructed to prepare camp charts and share them at the state level. Instructions have also been given to expedite the PM Kisan verification process so that the information of registered farmers can be fully verified.
Only farmers who have completed their registration will receive the Samman Nidhi benefits.
The state government has clearly informed farmers that from April 1, 2026, the next installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) will be available only to those farmers whose farmer registration has been completed. For this reason, the campaign is now being run in mission mode to ensure that no eligible farmer is left out of the next installment.
Sitapur Leads in Registration
Sitapur district leads in the Farmer Registration campaign. So far, 74.58 percent of farmers have been registered here. Basti is second with 74.24 percent, and Rampur is third with 70 percent registration. At the state level, approximately 54 percent of farmers have been registered so far, benefiting approximately 1.5 crore farmers.
Registration of 4,000 Farmers Daily
Currently, an average of 4,000 farmers are being registered daily in Uttar Pradesh. The government aims to complete the farmer registry and verification process for all eligible farmers in the state by the end of November. This campaign not only provides farmers with digital identities but also ensures timely access to government schemes.
The Yogi government's major step towards farmer empowerment
The Farmer Registry campaign is part of the state government's 'Digital Farmer' policy, under which a unified database of all farmers in the state is being created. This registry will directly connect farmers to benefits from schemes like seeds, fertilizers, crop insurance, and PM Kisan. The Yogi government's goal is to ensure access to government schemes for every farmer, and the Farmer Registry is proving to be a major step in this direction.
