Rajasthan News: There is good news for the devotees of Khatu Shyamji spread across the country. Now it will take less time to reach Baba Shyam temple from Jaipur. Bhajanlal government is soon going to build a proposed greenfield highway on this route. This will reduce traffic congestion and also reduce the distance between Jaipur and Khatu Shyamji. This expressway will be built between Kotputli and Kishangarh and will be 181 kilometers long. With its construction the distance between Jaipur and Delhi will also be reduced.
According to the information received, the DPR (Detailed Project Report) of this project has been prepared and its work is expected to start soon. This expressway will be built as an alternative to NH 48. With the construction of this express highway, the pace of development in the area will get a boost and people are also expected to get employment.
This greenfield highway from Kotputli to Kishangarh will be 181 kilometers long and will be 6-lane. Which will reach Kishanad via Kotputli-Makrana, Nawan, Rupangarh, Kuchaman City, Renwal, Khatushyamji Ringas, Palsana, Khandela, Pachkodia, Anatpura, Deodhi-Kodi, Jaitpura, Rozdi, Akoda, Naraina and Dudu. After the construction of this highway, while the traffic problem in Jaipur will reduce to a great extent, the distance between Khatushyam and Delhi will also reduce.
This 6 lane expressway highway is expected to cost approximately Rs 6906 crore and its work will start only in December 2025. For which 1679 hectares of land will be acquired and this expressway will pass through a total of five districts.
This Green Field Expressway will reach Kishangarh via Kotputli, Makrana, Nawan, Rupangarh, Kuchaman City, Renwal, Khatu Shyamji, Ringas, Palsana, Khandela, Pachkodia, Anatpura, Deodhi-Kodi, Jaitpura, Rozdi, Akoda, Naraina and Dudu. This route will pass through a total of five districts.
The government has prepared the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of this project. The new expressway will become an alternative to the existing national highway NH-48. After its commencement, the traffic pressure on NH-48 will reduce to a great extent. This road will not only facilitate the travel of the devotees of Khatu Shyam Ji, but will also give a new impetus to tourism and industrial connectivity in Rajasthan.
