News India Live, Digital Desk: 90’s was the era when not only serials but also the stream of faith flowed on TV. After ‘Ramayana’, if any serial had made the entire country sit together in front of the TV screen, it was Ramanand Sagar’s ‘Shri Krishna’. And whenever this show is mentioned, only one face comes in front of the eyes – ‘Krishna’ with a captivating smile and divine radiance, i.e. actor Sarvadaman D. Banerjee. In that period, Sarvadaman D. Banerjee was not just an actor, but had become the real face of Lord Krishna for crores of people. His smile, his dialogue delivery and the sparkle in his eyes brought the character of Krishna alive on screen like never before. But have you ever wondered where the person who was at such a high peak of success and popularity suddenly disappeared from this dazzling world of glamour? Leaving acting, now living a spiritual life. You will be surprised to know that Sarvdaman D. Banerjee said goodbye to the world of film and TV forever years ago. Was. Today at the age of 60, he is living a completely different and peaceful life. He has left his workplace Mumbai and made Rishikesh of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand his home. He also runs an NGO named ‘Pankh’ in Rishikesh, which works for the education of poor and underprivileged children and to empower the women of Uttarakhand. Sarvdaman ji’s look has also changed a lot with time. Now white hair has grown on his head and the stagnation of age is clearly visible on his face, but even today the same peace and sharpness remains in his eyes. He completely stays away from social media and limelight and remains engrossed in his work. Not only Krishna, he also became ‘Vivekananda’.
