As Halloween approaches, the excitement of donning spooky, creative, and out-of-the-box costumes takes over! From ghosts and vampires to classic movie characters, this festival gives everyone a chance to unleash their darker, quirkier side. Adding their own imaginative twist to the spirit of Halloween, artists including Priyamvada Kant (Latika, Gharwali Pedwali), Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) and Aasif Sheikh ( Vibhuti Narayan Mishra , Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai) shared what spooky characters they had love to embody if they were to attend a Halloween party!
Priyamvada Kant, who will soon be seen as Latika in the upcoming show Gharwali Pedwali, shares, “If I were to attend a Halloween party, I had love to give my character Latika a spooky transformation , maybe turn her into a dark, eerie ghost version of herself! Imagine Latika but with pale makeup, haunting eyes, and a twisted smile. I think it would be so much fun to explore that side of her personality — a mix of mystery, beauty, and eeriness. Halloween is such a creative festival; it lets you step out of your comfort zone and experiment with looks you had never tried otherwise.”
Geetanjali Mishra , who plays Rajesh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “I absolutely love the idea of dressing up for Halloween! If I had to pick a look, I had gone for either a Nun or a Vampire. Both have that mysterious and chilling aura which perfectly fits the Halloween vibe. I think portraying a vampire would be super fun because it is a mix of beauty and danger — all in one look. And a Nun look has that eerie calmness that can actually scare people without doing much! I enjoy experimenting with makeup and costumes, so getting into a dark, gothic transformation would be thrilling.”
Aasif Sheikh , aka Vibhuti Narayan Mishra from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, says, “I have always loved experimenting with my on-screen looks, and I think Halloween would be the perfect time to bring back one of my favourites, Belladonna, a look inspired by Annabelle, which I once portrayed in the show. It was spooky, detailed, and had that perfect blend of humor and horror. The audience loved it! Another look I had love to recreate is Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. My fans had started calling me the ‘Indian Jack Sparrow’ after that episode, and honestly, it suits me quite well! Both these characters are iconic in their own way, one gives chills, and the other brings charm with a twist of mischief.”
