If you passed 12th grade and always thought, "If I had studied a little more, I would have improved my marks." Now's the time to fulfill that dream. You can apply by visiting the Haryana Board's website. Learn how...

If you passed the 12th grade between 1990 and 2024 and are unhappy with your marks, now's a golden opportunity to improve your marks. The Haryana Board of School Education has launched a special scheme for such students, under which former students can now increase their 12th grade marks.

What is this special scheme?

The Haryana Board has taken this decision keeping in mind students who passed the 12th grade exam between 1990 and 2024, but now feel that their marks could have been better. All such students are now being given the opportunity to take a "Special Improvement Exam." By passing this exam, students can update their marks.

Opportunity to Improve in Two Subjects

Under this scheme, former students can improve their marks by taking exams in a maximum of two subjects. If students perform well in these two subjects, their new marks will be added to their previous result and an updated marksheet will be issued.

Application Fee and Important Information

The application fee for this special exam has been fixed at ₹10,000. Applications will be valid only after the fee is paid. The Board has clearly stated that the last date for applications is November 15, 2025. No applications will be accepted after that date, therefore, interested candidates are advised to apply in time.

Why this decision was taken

The Haryana Board states that many former students face difficulties in securing jobs, promotions, or further studies due to their marks. In the past, the exam pattern was different, resulting in lower marks than today. Now, the Board has given them this opportunity to improve their marks for their career or self-satisfaction.

Which students will benefit?

This scheme is especially beneficial for those who passed the 12th grade between 1990 and 2024, attended a government or private school, are dissatisfied with their previous results, and wish to improve their marks.

How to Apply

Students wishing to take advantage of this opportunity must apply online from October 31 to November 15, 2025.

To apply, visit the Board's official website, www.bseh.org.in, and fill out the form.

When applying online, students must upload a scanned copy of their old 12th grade certificate.

Along with this, this certificate must be verified by a gazetted officer or a recognized institution.
